Vocals: Micah Read

For the past eight years, Micah has been performing nationally in many different vocal groups that have shared the same stage at different large venues with the likes of John Mayer, Shawn Mullins, and Uncle Cracker. As a contestant on the Fox television show American Idol, Season III, Micah was invited to Hollywood Week where he progressed into the top 60 performers. His influences are Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Marc Broussard, Ray LaMontagne.

Guitar: Austin Pettit

Putting his heart and soul into every performance, Austin has played guitar for over two decades. He has recorded and toured nationally with Grinder Switch, sharing the bill with such acts as the Allman Brothers and Charlie Daniels. Locally he has fronted his own band, the Austin Pettit Band, for which he won the 2005 Favorite Guitarist award from Brevard Live Magazine. He was also a founding member of the Groove Monsters. His influences are Jimi Hendrix, James Brown, and Dickie Betts.

Bass: Kerry Morris

A groove oriented player from Los Angeles, Kerry has a studio recording and national touring resume that spans four decades and many genres of music, including, but not limited to, such acts as Randy Meisner (The Eagles), Bob Siebenberg (Supertramp), Peter Noone (Hermin’s Hermits), and Paul Barriere (Little Feat). He is adept at playing Soul, Blues, R&B, Funk, Reggae, and his major influences are Jimi Hendrix, Aretha Franklin, and James Brown.

Drums: Chuck Smith

Originally from the south side of Chicago, Chuck has made a thirty-year career of laying down the groove behind all types of music. For the past ten years Chuck has split his time. While touring nationally, he’s opened for George Jones, Merle Haggard, Charlie Pride, and Toby Keith. While playing locally, his band could be found at Disney, playing crowd-pleasing, danceable music. His influences are Steely Dan, Earth, Wind, & Fire, Chicago, Stevie Wonder, and anything Motown.
